“Journey into Nix” was actually a high concept album by Yes. Total prog-rock. No. Not really.

Alien: Ressurection was direceted by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Working off of a Joss Whedon script. The facehuggers are ambulatory penises. Your facehole is the vagina.

The problem with the Robocop remake is that the original is a super dark comedy and social commentary on media, technology, corporate fascism and excess. The new one? It’s more of the same old same old rehashed bad scifi trope of science and corporations are BAD.

Actually the Phoenix Coyotes are a pretty good hockey team (Kyle Kinghorn is a big fan), and they have a huge following probably because of all the retirees down there who miss all the cool stuff that goes on when you live where it snows. Fuckin’ snowbirds.

Holy Crap, Cliff! That is a whole mess of knowledge. Bravo!

You never set the parameters of the contest from the on-set, Joe! I feel betrayed. I am never doing another contest with you @$$ faces again. Love you, love your show.

Eric, I basically listen to the show and fill out the comment field as the show progresses. I found that if I tried to just add a comment here and there while the show played, I wound up with a lot of inchoate rage and screed at Steve’s strongly held, mostly annoying (though not always), and poorly reasoned (again, though not always) opinions.

Additionally, Joe’s bad attempts at comedy set and inherent geeklitism is like nails on a fucking chalkboard to me.

Also, posting a comment refreshes the page and starts the podcast over again from the beginning. Meaning I have use the slider to get to where they left off, or listen to their insipid drivel over and over again, and I wouldn’t wish that on fucking child molesters.

I do like it when they break into song though, and honestly, I wouldn’t have them change a fucking thing about the ‘cast.

So now when I get to the end of the podcast, I go back through my notes in the comment field, and edit out all the slavering hate. This week’s podcast for some odd reason inspired less nerd-rage. The guys must be sick or something.

Get well soon, Joe and Steve!
