Game Classy 62: The Obligatory 7th Ed. Discussion

by Joe on May 25, 2014

gc62Yeah, the boys talk about the new 7th ed. rulebook. Also in better news, Joe and Steve talk about The Dust Kickstarter, The Hex v Magic lawsuit, and getting excited about the new edition of Dungeons and Dragons. All this and Joe apologizing for having a “flip the table” moment.

I can’t, seriously, believe that two guys who think A New Hope is a bad movie love the garbage that is The Hobbit. The Hobbit movies are just Peter Jackson reshooting The Lord of The Rings. “Hey, remember when I did that in LoTR, I’m doing it again!”. Holy shit!

STOP SINGING!!!

Love the show, guys. Keep it up. (except the singing!)

We’ll have a ballad just for you some day. Probably about how The Hobbit rules and Star Wars is ass.

Joe, what is the name of that novel? Sounds great and I need something new to read.

Steve, Mage Wars boxed set is up on Miniature Market for $30. If I had one friend who had any interest in a game like that it would be an instant purchase. Also, have you check out the digital card game Infinity Wars? It looks interesting.

Kriegaffe = War ape

Probably my favorite German word is “Kummerspeck” which literally translates as “grief bacon” and is the weight you gain from emotional eating.

Death Korps of Krieg would be the “Death Corps of War.”

You could use Fiasco to run a Grimnoir setting.
