The Con Artist: Batman, The Doctor, and A Padawan Invade C2E2!

by Chris on February 2, 2013

Guest updates are starting to arrive  for  Reed Pop’s  C2E2, or Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo, which be hitting Chicago’s McCormick Place from April 26-28, 2013.

Joining the previously announced Kevin Smith and Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs are three guests from the 60’s Batman series.

Adam West, Burt Ward, and my personal favorite Catwoman, Julie Newmar will be making appearances all three days of the convention to sign autographs and meet fans.

Doctor Who fans will want to get a fresh piece of celery ready for their lapels in order to meet Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison.  He will no doubt be fielding questions about the upcoming 50th Anniversary Doctor Who special.

Also appearing at C2E2 is Ashley Eckstein, Ashoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  Ashley will be signing autographs and meeting fans all three days of the convention.  No word yet on whether Her Universe, Ms. Eckstein’s sci-fi line of clothing for female fans will have a booth at the convention.  If so, it’s a great way to souvenir shop for the wife or girlfriend.

Now that we’ve crossed into February, expect the updates for C2E2 to be regular as the late April convention draws near.

This great post made me think of a favorite quote from Elder Jeffery R. Holland: “So we have neighbors to bless, children to protect, the poor to lift up and the truth to defend. We have wrongs to make right, truths to share and good to do. In short, we have a life of devoted discipleship to give in demonstrating our love of the Lord. We can’t quit and we can’t go back.” Reply:December 18th, 2012 at 9:40 amI love that quote. Thank you for sharing!

I just love how many layers you use that are working so well together. I can't believe how well dress layering can work – it seriously looks seamless, and you have me wondering which dresses I could use to get the same effect.

, I am surprised you do not have millions of friends, who wouldn’t want to be your friend?Buzz Out Loud will probably never beat Diggnation (sry), but you have a chance at beating Twit, I think Buzz Out Loud is easily the best audio podcast out there.and last time I checked, which was just now, your her looks better than fine, no need to change it, but hey that’s just my opinion, what’s most important is that you are happy.OK now I am done, I will post my New Year’s Resolutions later.Bye
