In June of 2010, Telltale Games, the leading independent digital publisher and developer of episodic interactive entertainment, announced a multi-year, two-title video game development deal with Universal Partnerships & Licensing. They secured the rights to create video games based on two of Universal Pictures’ most popular intellectual properties, Back to the Future and Jurassic Park. The first game released under the agreement was based on the successful Back to the Future series of films. They have been received very well by critics and gamers for a solid story worthy of the BTTF franchise and intuitive gameplay.
This fall Telltale will release their next point-and-click adventure series based on Jurassic Park for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3. My opinion? If they could nail a solid story to intertwine with Back to the Future cannon, they can pull off a Jurassic Park one as well. Only time will tell, but it’s looking to be the most fun Jurassic Park game since the original for Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo. Check out the trailer and leave a comment below of what you think.
